Short version: we don’t see your video, we don’t track you, and you can get your money back.

Video and audio use an encrypted WebRTC connection from your iPhone to your PC. The signalling server receives a temporary room identifier, separate access keys for pairing, connection candidates (IP addresses) and the WebRTC session description. Pairing state is held in memory and deleted when the room closes. The application does not deliberately log access keys, session descriptions or video. Hosting providers may process request metadata in their operational logs. If enabled and a direct connection is impossible, a relay (TURN) can forward the encrypted stream; the relay cannot decrypt it.
Automatic update checks, downloads and installation are disabled in version 2.3.0 while code signing is being configured. There is no analytics or telemetry in the app.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your email address, country and, for businesses, VAT ID, to issue the licence key and the receipt, and to keep the accounting records Swedish law requires (7 years). Your card details never reach us. Your licence key is derived from your email address and purchase ID and is verified on your PC without contacting us.
One licence covers all computers you personally use. Businesses: one licence per user. You may not redistribute the key. The 7‑day trial is the full product with no restrictions.
30 days from purchase, full refund, no questions. Email us from the address you bought with. EU consumers additionally have their statutory 14‑day right of withdrawal.
Dockcam depends on Windows 11’s virtual camera support, iOS Safari/Chrome and your network. We fix bugs promptly but can’t promise it works on every network or with every app. If it doesn’t work for you, ask for a refund.
